AmeriCorps VISTAs serving the literacy community through Literacy Coalition-South Central Arkansas promoted literacy and had the pleasure of speaking with a few community military veterans at the SouthArk Expo on Saturday, September 9, 2023, The VISTA team asked the veterans to share their stories of service with them. Upon doing so, they presented the veterans with a gift card for lunch at Applebee's. The AmeriCorps VISTA team of Literacy Coalition sends a huge thank-you to the veterans who took the time to visit their booth.
