2022-2023 Anti-Poverty Programming

Early 3 Rs Plus Parent Plan
Reading, wRiting, & aRithmetic

A special 6-week anti-poverty workshop for single, unemployed, or underemployed parents with children aged 3-7 years of age. Children receive early learning assistance to prepare for or reenforce early educational success. Project includes PACT activities in health, wellness, and social interactions. Parents explore anti-poverty tools and resources that can be used to break the cycle of generational poverty.

Read Into Self-Elevation
Adult and Community Literacy

Assistance with reading, writing, math, basic computer use, English Language, health literacy, and financial literacy. Get help with accessing job skills and GED studies. One-to-one tutoring and community classes available. 

Join anytime! Assistance available in Ouachita, Union, Calhoun, and Dallas Counties. Call for Open Door days and community class schedules.
